jj: We do not feel the skip or step motion is a good way to go because that tells the defense that you are going to make the move. Instead we recommend that you use the “Plant and Push” method for getting into the cross. It’s very explosive and you can see this in our cross-over video. Check it out.

is it ok to take a hop step/skip like motion before you do the crossover? in some games the defence reads it right away from the get-go, while in other games it totally works until they catch on
